Feet2Fins is THE best place to take swim lessons in Houston. Alyssa is professional, experienced and totally committed to making sure you or your children learn how to swim. What I love about F2F the most is that learning to swim can be a very scary and daunting task, but it’s an important one and Alyssa makes the entire experience great!Esti H.
Alyssa is an excellent swim instructor. Our 9 month old son has enjoyed three months of weekly lessons. He has been made to feel very comfortable and capable in the water. Alyssa has a wonderfully gentle and engaging manner. He clearly feels like he’s learning from a friend. We’re so impressed by his weekly advancements. This is such a worthwhile investment! Sara W.
I highly recommend Alyssa for adults and children! After a couple of failed attempts to learn how to swim as an adult, I thought I was unteachable. But after taking 4 lessons with Alyssa, I was able to do more than I had after taking months of lessons elsewhere. She is definitely patient and pushes you with encouragement. Alyssa works with your schedule and genuinely wants you to do well. Confidence and fear were my biggest struggles, but her approach to teaching really helped me overcome that. These lessons really helped me do something I thought I could never do in a short amount of time! Sheba G.
Alyssa is the best. I had no confidence swimming and she taught me how to have confidence and not be afraid of the water. I learned to swim in just a few lessons and it is all because of her great teaching and patience. She worked with my schedule and was always on time for our meeting. After my husband saw how much my swimming improved, he also signed up for lessons with Alyssa and starts in the summer. If you are an adult and you need to learn how to swim then take a few of Alyssa’s private swimming lessons and you will be so happy you did! Tricia C.
I was invited to Colorado for white water rafting and nearly missed it because I didn’t know how to swim. Luckily my daughter had taken swim lessons with Alyssa and recommended I call her. Great experience! Alyssa said I was one of her best adult students!!! Paulette P.
We first decided to take Grant to swim lessons when our neighbors got a pool in their backyard. Our curious and energetic 8-year old was sure to find his way over there to swim with his friends, and it was time for Grant to know some basics about water safety. We thought private lessons would be best since Grant can be a little rambunctious and has a tendency to get carried away. He would get constant attention and not disturb anyone else trying to learn if he were in private lessons. It was a great decision. He learned so quickly and since Alyssa is a teacher by education, she handled his energy and enthusiasm is a very positive way. And most importantly to us, he knows that swimming is a learned skill and takes a lot of energy – not like playing around in the water. He has learned a greater respect for the water and we are a little more confident in the fact that he knows some basic techniques for swimming, floating, getting to the side of the pool and how to get out of the water. We are hoping that he continues to take such an interest in swimming and to continue his lessons with Alyssa. Swimming is a very important skill as well as great exercise. Alyssa’s enthusiasm and knowledge of swimming is obvious but her ability to work patiently with children is what sets her apart.Christina T.
Our 7 month old son had a great first lesson with Alyssa. She focuses on teaching parents as well as children, so that we can continue to practice swimming in between lessons during bath time. We are looking forward to continuing to work with her. Adele H.
