Feet2Fins will come to you within a 10 mile radius of Downtown Houston. Each student is given personalized attention and a specialized class to uniquely fit his or her needs. The student is taught to swim in a step-by-step process that involves teaching all the basics and fundamentals of swim mechanics.
Levels: There are 7 levels to our program, each one designed to make a safe and proficient swimmer. The skills listed are basic guidelines but may vary from session to session depending on the individuals attending each class.
Level I: Level one is an introductory level class. The students will learn to blow bubbles, put their faces under water, jump in assisted, and learn buoyancy. They will float on their backs and tummies assisted. These swimmers are still learning to be comfortable in water and still need to have full time assistance.
Level II: At this level the swimmer is learning skills that are unassisted. They will be jumping in unassisted, floating on back and front unassisted. They will learn to maneuver from one side of the pool to the other with objects that aide in their buoyancy. They will begin to learn to hold their breathe as well as the elementary backstroke. These swimmers are still in need of help when swimming in the water.
Level III: Level three swimmers will improve by leaps and bounds. These swimmers will increase their yardage and start to concentrate on technique. These swimmers will be learning the backstroke, elementary backstroke, freestyle with proper breathing technique and working on kicking techniques with focus on breathing correctly. These swimmers will also learn to sit dive. These swimmers are proficient swimmers but still need to have an adult within arms reach.
Level IV: Level four swimmers are fine tuning all the above strokes, swimming up to 15 yards. They are also learning to dive standing up and are introduced to breaststroke kick. These swimmers are also treading water for 30 second intervals. They are diving off the side and are learning to do flip turns for fun. These swimmers have reached a level that they can play in the water safely alone with proper adult supervision.
Level V: Level five swimmers are doing freestyle with proper breathing, backstroke, elementary backstroke and putting together the whole breast stroke for up to 25 yards. They will start learning dolphin kick and will be treading water for up to a minute and half. These swimmers will work on all their technique and be able to swim without worries, as always with proper adult supervision.
Level VI: Level six swimmers are competent swimmers. They will be doing all the above along with some new butterfly introduction. All the strokes for up to 25 yards each, with 15 of butterfly. They will be treading water for up to 3 minutes. They dive off side and blocks.
Pre-Team: This level is for the competent swimmer who is not ready to commit to the swim team but would like to maintain a level of fitness that is equal to the first level of swim team entry. This group will be doing drills and will spend the full time in water swimming to improve stroke technique and endurance.

Are you having a pool party? Birthday party that will involve kids being by the water? Call Feet2Fins and get a certified lifeguard to supervise the event to ensure that everyone stays safe. Over the course of the summer we get calls from parents who are having a private event by a pool and would like a lifeguard on duty watching over the safety of all the children involved.
Feet2Fins offers private swimming lessons at your home or any nearby pool of your choosing even during the colder months of the year. During late fall to early spring we require our lessons to take place either in a heated or indoor swimming pool. Fall and Winter breaks offer the perfect time to schedule swim lessons for your children since they are off from school, and we would be happy to teach you or your child during the colder season.
Feet2Fins has experienced a tremendous amount of growth over the past several years. We attribute this success to not only our passion for the water, but the public’s increased awareness about the positive benefits of learning how to swim at their own pace, be it child or adult. This increased demand, however, has made it necessary for us to implement a registration policy to ensure that we are able to meet the needs of everyone who is serious about our program. $50 is for the initial registration (non-refundable). The $50 non-refundable fee includes an initial consultation to discuss the needs of your child or yourself. Please only make a payment after calling or e-mailing us so we can discuss availability.
To best serve each client, at least 24 hours notice is required for a lesson cancellation. If less than 24 hours notice is given at the time of a cancellation, the client will be responsible for a $50 cancellation fee. This amount must be paid in full to schedule any future sessions. Thank you for your consideration when booking sessions. In the case of a session that cannot be rescheduled, a credit will be issued to your Feet2Fins account. Lessons can be purchased or transferred to another family/client. Prepaid lessons are valid 30 days from the start date. No monetary refunds will be issued. During the registration process, each family agrees to the terms and conditions set forth by Feet2Fins. Please note polices may change at any time without any notice.
